This trick is very useful if you Hide a disk which contains some secret or important data.
Firstly you need to open command prompt
Goto>>start>>run>>type 'cmd' and press enter You will see command prompt window
There You need to type the following codes Diskpart
list volume
(a list of volume/disk available on your hard disk will appear)
select volume (and enter your volume number) remove letter(and the letter of your volume for eg: 'L')
its done you have successfully hided your volume and your volume is now invisible to the users Now if you want to restore back your volume type the following codes:
Diskpart
list volume
(a list of volume/disk available on your hard disk will appear)
select volume (and enter your volume number which you hav hided)
assign letter (and your volume letter for eg: 'L')
